Challenging gravity performance

+ Wiesehalle55 Presents | ‘Object Transferring into Subject’

Contemporary performance by Nikolina Komljenović, choreographer, dance and aerial circus artist based in Zagreb, Croatia.

Her performance takes place within layers of sound, light and movement to display a female body as an object made of isolated body parts, itself a part of an heterogeneous environment. A hybrid subject made of all the parts emerges.

+ As well this time Wiesenhalle55 has attracted numerous audiences with Nikolina’s hypnotic dance performance act

where she used movements of breathing and slow gliding elements of her body on the scene to invert realistic perception of her objectivity into the subjective presence.

The atmosphere was enriched with delicate and minimalistic sounds of her own mechanical expansions of lungs and bloodstream and pulsing worm light effects.
